What form of payment do you accept?
Cash, Debit / Interac, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do not accept personal cheques.
Do you have gift certificates?
Indeed. Any denomination you wish.
GUARANTEES & RETURNS
Are your CDs and DVDs guaranteed?
Yes. All digital items are guaranteed not to skip. If you purchase a title from us that will not play, you may return it.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns for damaged merchandise only. Though we guarantee a product’s condition, we cannot guarantee that you’ll like it or that you don’t already have it.
SPECIAL ORDERS & HOLDS
Will you hold an item for me until pay day?
We do not do overnight holds under any circumstances. If you call us and we have a title you’re looking for, we can hold it at your request until the end of that day’s business.
Do you do special orders?
Vortex no longer does special orders. If you'd like to do a special order, we suggest you contact our sister store, Good Music.
Vortex used to deal in new vinyl, but since our manager opened up a new store, Good Music, all new vinyl is handled at that location.
Do you photograph everything that comes into your store for your web site?
Not even close.
Who are your customers?
We have thousands of customers, of course. All ages, sizes, and backgrounds. A few of them have music- or film-related blogs. Since you’re done reading this site, maybe you should check out some of theirs:
